Review: (#1, C) An awful shade of red-orange washes out the actors’ faces without a necessary purpose. The rain of bullets is overused in action posters as is the slightly tilted image. (#2-#3, C) These are a little more lively than the prior effort but they use trite design aesthetics from the fiery letters to the cinder affectations. They don’t add anything unique or appealing to the familiar. (#4, C) A weird combination of both of the prior sets of designs without anything that makes it sufficiently stand out as an appealing action comedy.

Trailer Rating: C+

Review: (#1, C+) It’s impossible to count just how many retiring assassin dramas are out there but they all generally look the same and other than a game Christina Ricci, the film looks like a tired retread of all the familiar tropes that have stagnated the subgenre.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
