Review: (#1, C+) A lot of films set in this timeframe have had more compelling and visually stimulating designs, including the prior film in this series. It’s ultimately just a bit dull and underinspired.

Review: (#1, B-) Strong actors (Margaret Qualley, Chris Evans, Aubrey Plaza, and Charlie Day) are given some weak material to play with in this second film in Ethan Coen/Tricia Cooke’s crime trilogy. The situations look forced and the humor is cheap while Evans looks like he’s overplaying his character. If you enjoyed Drive-Away Dolls, this is likely to appeal to you but everyone else probably won’t care.
