Review: (#1, C+) Describing what Tourette’s is does have a certain relevance but the end result is perhaps a bit too awash in blue. (#2, C) There’s not much about this design that’s appealing. Throwing in a bunch of praise and some award recognition isn’t a bad thing but doing it in such an underwhelming and overbearing way is.

Trailer Rating: C

Review: (#1, C) This paint-by-numbers trailer presents a film that tackles Tourette Syndrome from a position that should be admirable but which almost feels exploitative. That most of what he could possibly say that would be interesting wouldn’t be allowed in a green band trailer is a mitigating factor but the film looks too dull regardless of any punch those types of phrases might give it.

Oscar Prospects:

With its wins at BAFTA, it’s possible the film could become an Oscar contender this year but the April release isn’t going to help but there may be some hurt feelings over its triumphs at BAFTA.
