Review: (#1-#2, C) Neither of these two designs do anything useful. They use the same scene from the film while adjusting the lighting effects for both without giving them life of excitement.

Review: (#1, B-) A number of films over the years have tried to create tales of moral relativity that asks audiences how far they might be willing to take revenge when it there’s no guarantee that it will make one feel better. Without the background of filmmaker Jafar Panahi’s troubles, the trailer doesn’t have as much salience but for those familiar, it’s interesting to see how he gets away with his government-critical ideas without crossing the bright red line they’ve drawn for him.

Oscar Prospects:

Iran is unlikely to submit the film for Oscar considering but the Academy is embracing non-English language films more often so this might be Jafar Panahi’s big chance to break through.
