Review: (#1, C) The ornamental border of this effort sets it as a period-referenced effort while the torn paper heart gives it a modernist appeal. Yet, the blinding white background, the harshness of the red elements and the terrible spacing of the title lettering make this a bum design.

Trailer Rating: C+

Review: (#1, C+) For years, filmmakers have tried to tap into the romanticism that is Jane Austen and while the movies of her books have done somewhat well in that regard, the films set in the present that refer back to Austen as an influence tend to feel antiquated and charmless. This trailer almost falls into that trap but has a few charming moments that might suggest something better than previously attempted.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
