Review: (#1-#2, C+) A pair of starter posters that do thematically get to the heart of the film but don’t express enough to create interest in anything but the actors.
(#3, C+) A design that poses more questions than answers can create a level of intrigue that will sell tickets and while the suggestive nature of the hand-holding in the poster might feel a little scandalous, the overall design is so bland and lifeless that you’d be forgiven for not even bothering to analyze its limited details.
Trailer Rating: C+

Review: (#1, C+) Perhaps sitting on the concept of introspection for so long hinders the film’s development. George Clooney talking about his feelings of inadequacy doesn’t come off terribly well and apart from some strong performers involved and a killer final scene, the trailer doesn’t generate enough excitement to intrigue.
Oscar Prospects:
Noah Baumbach hasn’t had quite the breakthrough he needs to turn this into a major contender but with the talent involved, it could well be his major breakthrough.
