Poster Rating: C+

Review: Considering the subject matter, this is probably the most tantalizing, yet uncompromising posters they could cobble together. Thankfully the designers chose lush greens and yellows to highlight the poster instead of the typical reds and pinks most romances use.

Trailer Rating: C+

Review: The trailer really doesn’t let the audience believe this film could have won a César award for Best Actress, let alone Best Picture. The trailer seems like it was thrown together at the last minute. Not even the voice over work is up to the par of other imports.

Oscar Prospects:

Will France, seeing this as a Best Picture winner in their own country, submit the film for Academy consideration? It’s a risky choice and could be too risqué for some in the Academy.
