Review: (#1, C) Reminiscent of the structure of the poster for The Abyss, this effort has an intriguing stormy ocean to create atmosphere but the underwater element, while realistic, isn’t particularly engaging. (#2, C+) While the energy of the prior design is absent, an effort was made to create visual energy with the tilted angles splitting the poster in three directions. It highlights the actors with some poor PhotoShopping and that might be of more interest than the rest of the content.

(#3, C-) At least the prior effort tried to adds some detail to keep the design from feeling empty but this just removes those elements and fails to replacement with anything more intriguing. In the ocean, things can hear you scream.

Review: (#1, C) When selling a drama about a deep sea dive that goes wrong, a title like The Last Breath gives a poor impression of the film’s content. Reminiscent of moments from The Abyss, this trailer struggles to find a narrative hook that entices the viewer into wanting to check out the film. That it also reminds of numerous shark-related horror films of recent vintage is also a drawback.
