Review: (#1, C) The trailer doesn’t explain the blue lip idea, so this just looks odd and perhaps gives the wrong impression of who is dying in the film. (#2, C) Trying to carry forward the theme, this design brings us the neck brace alongside the blue lips and still doesn’t manage to tell the audience anything about the film. That background color and the oppressive hot pink lettering makes it all feel a bit garish. (#3, C) Trying to tame the blue background with more intricate designs and decreasing the number of figures might give it some polish but it still lacks any semblance of explanation or insight.

Trailer Rating: C

Review: (#1, C) If the posters were confusing, the trailer is no less so. The story of a son trying to honor the memory of his dying father while exploring his own life is given an ill-fitting setting with this trailer. What the film aims to show and what the audience should expect to get out of it are never clear.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
