Poster Rating: C+

Review: They choose the dorkiest image of Ben Gourley from the film in hopes of securing the Superbad audience. However, the nauseating shade of puce they chose does little more than assault the mind. Points for using a color that isn’t being over used. But that’s most definitely not enough.

Trailer Rating: B-

Review: Rich man hires guardian for his daughter but warns him not to touch. We’ve seen it all before and now we’re getting a road trip mixed in. Gourley looks like he might be good in the film, but Rutger Hauer hams it up alongside the toned-down-but-still-obnoxious Jon Heder. Add in TV actress Mila Kunis (That ’70s Show) and you have a film that has promise, but not very much.

Oscar Prospects:

I can’t remember the last time the Academy picked up a film like this and ran with it at the Oscars. It doesn’t have enough profile and certainly doesn’t feature enough talent.
