Review: (#1, B) The empty black background does allow the frontal design to stand out but the drool from the teeth should be running towards the bottom of the design, not tilted the same angle as the skull. What’s interesting about this design is the inset of the LA image in the center of the skull. It’s compelling enough to be interesting even if in an overused way.

(#2, B+) Although there was an interesting motif going with the first design, this one scales it back into something a bit more familiar. The vampire skull is still prominent with the city skyline as teeth but adding several more character insets adds some needed detail.

Review: (#1, B-) Poorly conveyed, the premise holds a lot of promise. You can’t quite tell for sure who the villains are though you can make a pretty good guess but where that puts our protagonists and their allegiances is difficult to tell. Figuring out who you’re supposed to love and hate is difficult which will make it a tougher sell.
