Poster Rating: C / B

Review: (#1, C) A simple, bland design that doesn’t seem to create a sense of urgency or energy within the viewer. (#2, B) Taking an artistic style often used in comedies in the 1980s and 1990s (think Naked Gun) will allow older audiences to understand quickly that it’s a comedy without giving younger audiences something to get them interested.

Trailer Rating: C+ / C+

SEE ALL TRAILERS BELOW
Review: (#1, C+) The trailer does absolutely nothing to establish the film’s premise other than setting it up as a weird pastiche that has a few humorous moments but little to anchor an audience’s interest.

(#2, C+) The Back to the Future references make the viewer think of this as something derivative and there’s not enough humor on display in the trailer to create broad interest even if the plot is a little better explained this time around.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
