Review: (#1, B-) Although it struggles to adequately give a sense of time or setting (except those stylized glasses on Daisy Edgar Jones), it has a unique stylistic design that stands out against the sea of mediocre efforts in cineplexes. While simplistic, I’ll give it credit for being interesting to look at.
(#2-#5, C) These character posters are just differently-lighted shots from the film and they add absolutely nothing of interest to their characters or actors.
Trailer Rating: C+ / B-

Review: (#1, C+) This first trailer tries to set up the premise by going over its points one by one hoping the audience will be enticed by its premise. (#2, B-) The second trailer is a bit more mysterious and better succeeds at digging into the existential drama of the film’s narrative. If you saw the first trailer, you might expect a more traditional film while the second looks more intriguing in general.
Oscar Prospects:
It has the pedigree of an Oscar contender but the April release is a bit too early in the year to dominate without festival prominence.
