Review: (#1, B-) With a better background choice, this might have exceeded expectations but it’s at least interesting with differing levels of bars but oddly spaced breaks between them (they should have been equal rather than smaller in the center). The titling could have been better chosen with something other than white making up the accent but it’s better than a lot of rudimentary designs lately.
(#2, C+) Another solid design for this film, though this is a bit less inspired than its predecessor. The colors (cyan, white, and yellow) are well fused and the positioning and sizes of the character insets are well handled without being precisely symmetrical.
Trailer Rating: C+

Review: (#1, C+) If you were to put together a list of tropes for teen romance films surrounding tragedies, you would find all of them in this trailer with a few being antithetical to one another or otherwise feeling overused. It’s a familiar concept with familiar outcomes that doesn’t present anything that would genuinely shock or intrigue an atypical viewer.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
