Review: (#1, C+) A simplistic recitation, the poster tries to use interesting details in unoriginal ways. The horseback inset is its most interesting effect but the end result is something that still feels uninspired.

Review: (#1, C+) Those familiar with the Rust incident will surely be torn between several competing thoughts. Can a film with a trailer that makes the film look like a solid modern western overcome the negative publicity the film faced over the accidental death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins? Can you watch the film to honor her photographic legacy and not still support the disdainful way the post-incident press shook out? It will be a tough sell for many but the trailer is well cut and the film looks better than a lot of recent revisionist westerns that have released in the last few years.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
