Review: (#1, B) The first design isn’t a teaser? That’s a bit of a surprise but a welcome one. And even without the title, the viewer can easily guess which film this is and that’s part of the success of the design.
(#2, C+) Having the locales embedded under the cloak of the evil queen’s cloak is interesting but there’s a softness that washes out most of them. It does tell most of the story we’re familiar with but it won’t be enough to encourage viewership.
(#3, C) Framing Snow white with the mirror is a fitting stylistic choice, especially if she were in the reflection and not outside of it. (#4, C+) The balance of bright and dark is somewhat interestingly conveyed but the details feel minimal. (#5, B-) This design is almost identical to the second design but thankfully adds more details. They might be superfluous details but they are nice nonetheless. (#6, C+) Abandoning a lot of the interesting details of the prior design, we have something quite a bit less compelling.
(#7, C+) By simplifying the mirror concept of prior designs, it has enabled more background details to emerge and while that’s appealing, the color saturation makes it all feel very superficial and unappealing. (#8, C) Then when you minimize the background details and accentuate the stars, it feels less rich and detailed. (#9-#13, C) While many of these format-specific designs are unique to one another, none of them stand out as a compelling or intriguing design effort and certainly aren’t going to entice viewers into those specific formats/concerns.

Review: (#1, C+) The brief hints of music don’t inspire confidence as it suggest that it isn’t going to have enough life in it to support those numbers. Copying a film from 80+ years ago and not making sufficient changes is concerning and audiences may pick up on that.
(#2, C-) An ok new song dominates the last half of the trailer but by then, all the bad acting and familiarity that precedes makes the whole effort distressingly dull. This is a movie whose brightness should be defining and appealing but it only makes the movie look forced and uninspired (not that turning an animated film into a live-action one is terribly inspired these days).
(#3, C) While it’s certainly a more peppy, energetic trailer than either of the prior, the uninspired song alterations are still abysmally presented and the performances look just as stiff as they always have. It’s no surprise that the film hasn’t had much buzz building about it.
