Review: (#1 & #2) Dark and plain, that might fit a film about Abraham Lincoln in his childhood, but it’s not very appealing to a general audience who won’t be able to tell by the designs what the film is about and thereby won’t care. While the first is a bit more original, neither is a particularly effective sales tool.

Review: Why you would evoke the name of Terrence Malick, especially when he isn’t the director, is unknown. He’s not a figure that any outside of the cineaste community is particularly familiar with. Even so, those who are familiar aren’t necessarily going to use that name association as a pertinent recommendation.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
