Review: (#1, C) Only for the individual who’s seen the trailer and understands the face, it might have some appeal but its unnecessarily simplistic.

(#2, C) The empty background might highlight the characters of the film but it makes for a vacant and almost lifeless design and minimizes the impact these figures might otherwise make. (#3, C) Reducing the background emptiness certainly adds some depth but the static feel of the design and its differing levels of detail and clarity don’t improve the effort much.

Trailer Rating: B- / C+ / C

Review: (#1, B-) If you have an aversion to Chris Pratt, this trailer’s going to look less appealing than it should. If you don’t care about that, the concept has some merit and some of the moments are interesting but the plot looks a bit thin from what’s presented.

(#2, C+) Giving the audience more information on the background of the story is a good start but the action from the first trailer is largely diminished in this trailer and the end result is something that doesn’t look nearly as fascinating as it should.

(#3, C) The first two trailers at least tried to give the viewer some exciting action elements to amuse them but this effort wants to give some element of plot detail that doesn’t add anything to the film and ultimately helps the film look as cheap and unpromising as the first trailer suggested it wouldn’t be.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
