Review: (#1, C) The split panel with giant floating heads, a warm but inept title and then a scene from the film don’t exactly make for a fitting combination, especially not arrayed as such. (#2, C) The image from the first design given more attention with a hand-drawn background feels shockingly lazy in spite of itself. (#3, C) This is a more naturalistic scene presentation and it’s no surprise they changed the title of the film but this still doesn’t give the viewer much interest in the end result.

Trailer Rating: C-

Review: (#1, C-) Nick Nolte’s gravelly voice is difficult to listen to and since the trailer is almost exclusively him talking to the ostensible talent behind the title makes it feel like they are trying too hard to tap into Nolte’s status as a veteran of the industry rather than any compelling interest in the film’s subject matter.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
