Review: (#1, B) Plenty of poster designs focus in on two-dimensionality but this design thankfully avoids that, placing different figures on different planes within the design. It takes 2D images and thrusts them into a 3D environment that is surprisingly striking. (#2, B-) This design does better at accentuating the anime-style of its figures without creating distinctive elements. It’s vibrant with figures interestingly arrayed but doesn’t quite strike out as a compelling effort.

Review: (#1, C+) Perhaps fans of the first film will be drawn to this sequel but for any who aren’t familiar, there’s little on display that will generate buzz. It’s a rather dull, tepid trailer that doesn’t know how to create a sense of excitement.
