Review: (#1, C+) It’s a pretty design but with way too much empty, off-white space. It also doesn’t really tell the viewer what it’s about. (#2, C) Neither does this design, but making matters worse is it’s just a still from the film that isn’t likely to appeal to anyone.

(#3, B-) Unlike the prior efforts, this one has some depth and creates a sense of thematic relevance. It still requires a familiarity with the trailer or film to understand its themes but it’s certainly eye-catching.

Trailer Rating: C+

Review: (#1, C+) The premise makes sense but the trailer struggles to make it look interesting. The political ideas are briefly referenced and ultimately forgotten by the trailer’s end at which point most audiences will have forgotten it or thought it a wasted reference for a picture that looks so tedious.

Oscar Prospects:

Iraq’s submission to the Academy Awards has a low chance of a nomination.
