Review: (#1, C) The image editing leaves Ben Affleck difficult to identify and makes both he and Matt Damon look far younger than they are, which is deceptive. While it fits in the orange buckets of money, the setting is murky and there’s not much here to sell the film other than with its stars.

(#2, C) If all you want to do is sell your film based on its stars, this is the way to go. If you want to do something original, well, originality is not welcome here.

Review: (#1, C) Looking like a traditional action crime thriller, even the presence of great actors can’t outweigh the cheapness of the material and the overly familiar thrust of the action.

(#2, C+) A conventional heist thriller taken from a slightly different angle. There’s plenty of action and banter that will appeal to some audiences but it looks so generic and underwhelming that it will have to coast entirely on the popularity of its stars.
