Review: (#1, B-) A simple design that is reminiscent of book jackets for murder mysteries. The suggestion of blood is titillating and compelling. Whether it does enough to sell the film is another story.

(#2, C+) A decent job of fitting in the characters without making them feel like they were haphazardly cut-and-pasted in, the design is very simple and features the bloody cake from the prior design but it ultimately feels like something that doesn’t quite know where it wants to take itself.

Review: (#1, C+) While it’s nice to see these actors working together and the suggestion of a potential murder mystery but there’s not enough suspense or intrigue in this trailer to make the viewer interested.

(#2, B-) Getting into the premise of the film in a more substantial way, the idea begins to percolate to the point that fans of murder mysteries will likely find something work anticipating about this film even if it isn’t the terrific actors in the cast.
