Review: (#1, C) Attempting to suggest rather than tell, the choice of still images from the film is an effective one. That cloudy background is a bit overstimulating and the title has unappealing kerning but it’s at least a competent, if bland, presentation.

Trailer Rating: B

Review: (#1, B) A conventional movie trailer that presents a compelling story in a way we haven’t seen many times. While there are elements reminiscent of Europa Europa, it’s far enough removed to possibly feel fresh. This type of story is entirely familiar but also feels important as a reminder of what the Jews went through when totalitarianism and fascism decided to strike them down.

Oscar Prospects:

This has potential to be a contender for International Feature.
