Review: (#1, C) The warning-sign yellow of the titling clashes with the core image even if it helps the film stand out. There’s nothing generally exciting about the use of a film scene for the design. (#2, C) This Greek poster grainifies the image it pulls from the film while adding little appealing detail afterwards. The whole thing looks cheap. (#3, C+) It’s an overused poster design trope, fitting in a scene from the film inside hazy, ethereal heads but it works reasonably well, though the whole design is too dark.

Trailer Rating: C+

Review: (#1, C+) While they compare the film to Midnight Cowboy, there’s no remote resemblance to that film as a pair of Palestinian immigrants engage in nefarious activities for their own safety and by the time the audience gets an idea that they might have hearts of gold, the trailer is almost over and there’s been nothing to entice the viewer by that point. Too little too late.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
