Review: (#1, C+) While the design is thematic, it’s also woefully underwhelming. The figures don’t look naturally positioned, the titling almost clashes with the details, and the excitement of violence is minimal. (#2, C) That vacant real estate in the upper four-fifths of the design might draw attention to the figures in the lower portion but it does so without creating a sense of visual panoply. It’s static in the worst possible way. (#3, B-) An artful design that reminds of a lot of 1980s poster designs with stacked figures in hand-drawn art. It’s interesting to look at and might do a little heavy lifting in bring people to the film.

Review: (#1, C-) A generic western idea embodying Japanese samurai ideas. It’s been seen in numerous ways over the years while not finding an opening to make the viewer take interest.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
