Review: (#1, C) While I admire the attempt to suggest that the film has too many disturbing images to show a broad audience, the gimmick resorts to throwing up “critical acclaim” in an effort to suggest the film will be different than others like it but ultimately it only serves to make the audience question whether there’s anything to see here.

(#2, C) As much as a tease as the first trailer was, this second doesn’t do much more to enliven interest in the film. It still feels like a movie that wants the viewer to feel like they are in for something new but failing to provide the details that confirm that. It isn’t the least bit effective and is more than a little unnecessarily chaotic.
