Review: (#1, B-) Simple for sure, this design is compelling in how it takes a seemingly familiar sight, a lollipop, and gives it a sinister feel. The VHS affectations give it a certain thematic clarity but it could have used a few more details.

Review: (#1, C+) The most difficult part of anthology horror films is finding a way to reference each of the narratives without giving away plot details but also keeping them distinct from one another. This over-edited trailer doesn’t care about that and blends and melds various scenes from each of the productions into a semi-confusing whole that isn’t likely to appeal to anyone other than the V/H/S series’ fans but honestly, that’s probably all the producers really care about.
