Last Week’s Results

It was an entirely unpredictable weekend at the box office with all five new releases failing to live up to expectations and two unexpectedly strong holdovers carried the top two spots, closely together. The Wolf of Wall Street came in second on Christmas Day, but then crashed to fifth for the weekend bypassed by American Hustle, Anchorman 2, Frozen and The Hobbit. Grudge Match and Justin Bieber’s Believe failed to crack the top ten while 47 Ronin barely hung on to stay there.
