It’s possible The Fantastic Four spends a second weekend at the top but The Naked Gun will give it a run for its money while The Bad Guys 2 could surprise with a dearth of new family films on offer.

The Bad Guys 2
Wesley Lovell: The first film was an unexpectedly good one so the second should have some promise.
Pete Patrick: Too many movies about bad guys for me to remember which ones this is a sequel to.
Thomas La Tourrette: The trailer was pretty lame, but the early reviews were surprisingly good, so maybe it’s worth catching.
The Naked Gun
Wesley Lovell: I’m torn. The first trailer was abysmal but the second was pretty good. It’s hard to know if this will live up to expectations or not.
Pete Patrick: The remake has gotten good early notices, so maybe.
Thomas La Tourrette: I am dubious about this. Liam Neeson looks to be a good straight man but there was not that much humor in the trailer.

The Limited Slate
Wesley Lovell: None of these films really excite me.
Pete Patrick: Sorry, but I’m not intrigued by any of these films.
Thomas La Tourrette: None of these films appealed to me. A couple, especially Together, have decent reviews but none of the trailers sold their films whatsoever.
