Captain America: Brave New World is the obvious box office winner for the coming weekend. There’s no competition.

OTHER RELEASES

We are only looking at films that have had trailers released on Rotten Tomatoes’ trailer YouTube Channels. Below are some other films that are releasing this weekend that we haven’t considered.

Armand (Expands Wide)
Becoming Led Zeppelin (Expands Wide)
2025 Oscar Shorts (Limited)
The Long Game (Limited)
Ne Zha 2 (Limited)
You, Me & Her (Limited)

WIDE RELEASES

CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD

PADDINGTON IN PERU

Captain America: Brave New World

Wesley Lovell: I would love to see Anthony Mackie as Cap on the big screen but the film doesn’t look that good.

Peter J. Patrick: Harrison Ford and Anthony Mackie make the latest Marvel reboot worth a shot.

Thomas La Tourrette: The Marvel films seem to be falling off in quality though not quantity, and this one just does not look that exciting.

Paddington in Peru

Wesley Lovell: Haven’t quite gotten into this film series yet, but maybe one day.

Peter J. Patrick: I enjoyed the first two, no reason to not give this one a chance.

Thomas La Tourrette: The trailer is cute enough to sell it to kids and perhaps the movie will have something for adults. Olivia Colman does look to be having a grand time as a signing nun.

LIMITED RELEASES

ROUNDING

UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE

The Limited Slate

Wesley Lovell: Neither of these look appealing.

Peter J. Patrick: Universal Language could be intriguing, but Rounding is a horror film that has been on the shelf for three years which isn’t a good sign.

Thomas La Tourrette: Neither film has that good a trailer, but the rave reviews of Universal Language make it sound intriguing. I just wish they had done a better job of selling it.
