Another weekend with one major wide release and it should be a hit even with a second weekend for Jurassic World Rebirth likely doing well. Superman should still come out on top.

We are only looking at films that have had trailers released on Rotten Tomatoes’ trailer YouTube Channels. Below are some other films that are releasing this weekend that we haven’t considered.

SUPERMAN

Superman

Wesley Lovell: I hesitant to get excited about this. It certainly looks like a natural successor to the Christopher Reeve films but there are some questionable choices in the trailers.

Pete Patrick: I’ll give it a try although I’m not convinced that I’ll like it.

Thomas La Tourrette: I will see it, albeit grudgingly. A lackluster trailer does not stoke excitement, and an epic battle destroying the city looks like the end of every superhero movie of late.

The Limited Slate

Wesley Lovell: There isn’t a lot I’m interested in releasing this weekend.

Pete Patrick: Some strong maybes here but nothing I’d rush out to see.

Thomas La Tourrette: The three political dramas might be worth watching, but the other two films do not look very interesting.
