Wesley Lovell (WL): The first attempt at a D&D movie was a colossal waste of time and the trailers for this don’t suggest anything different. Peter J. Patrick (PP): Heavily promoted fantasy film should be a huge hit, but I have no interest in it. Thomas LaTourette (TL): Even for people like me who have never played D & D, this looks like a charming lark, never serious but fun.

Wesley Lovell (WL): The trailer is very engaging, making this a film I’m largely interested in. Peter J. Patrick (PP): Sundance hit about the reunion of a mother and son could be a critical success.
