After the massive debut of Wicked: For Good, Thanksgiving should be a blockbuster event with the release of Zootopia 2 taking the top spot.

The Thing with Feathers
Wesley Lovell: This looks painful.
Pete Patrick: Well-received psychological horror film looks intriguing.
Thomas La Tourrette: Neither the reviews nor the trailer make this look like something to see. Perhaps for Benedict Cumberbatch’s performance it might be worthwhile, but I am dubious even of that.
Zootopia 2
Wesley Lovell: The first film was good but not worthy of a sequel so who knows.
Pete Patrick: More like probably as it is a strong Oscar contender. but I’m not particularly interested in seeing it.
Thomas La Tourrette: The first film was enjoyable and this looks like it should be too. It surely will be up for animated feature.

The Limited Slate
Wesley Lovell: Two mediocre Knives Out mysteries and I’m not sure I want to bother anymore. The other two have good potential.
Pete Patrick: Hamnet and The Secret Agent are strong Oscar contenders and although I didn’t care for the first two Knives Out mysteries, this one looks more interesting.
Thomas La Tourrette: Hamnet looks to be the best of the bunch with superb performances from Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal. It will be a major Oscar player. The Secret Agent had a lackluster trailer but the reviews are good and it is talked up as an international feature film nominee, with an outside chance of Cannes winning Best actor. I am not that huge a fan of the Knives Out mysteries, but it looks engaging enough.
