Three films hope to dislodge The Conjuring at the box office and among them, The Long Walk has the best chance though it might be a close call with Conjuring earning a second weekend atop the box office.

Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale
Wesley Lovell: I would have to catch up on both big screen continuations of the series to watch this but it might be worth it.
Pete Patrick: It may end up being a disappointment, but I’ve seen every episode and film in the series and want to see how it all ends.
Thomas La Tourrette: I have enjoyed the series so far, so will see its ending.
The Long Walk
Wesley Lovell: Early word of mouth and a Stephen King origin make this an intriguing possibility.
Pete Patrick: This dystopian tale from Stephen King’s first novel looks riveting but despairing, probably too good to totally dismiss but not something I look forward to enduring.
Thomas La Tourrette: It looks and sounds unpleasant.
Spinal Tap II: The End Continues
Wesley Lovell: I never had much interest in the original but if I had been, this might look fun.
Pete Patrick: Looks to be amusing as was the original, but not much more.
Thomas La Tourrette: I was not that enamored of the original film, so not sure if I will see this one.

The Limited Slate
Wesley Lovell: Not a lot that piques my interest this week.
Pete Patrick: Motherland seems like it might be OK, and Looking Through Water and The Man in My Basement may be worth seeing for their strong casting, but Code 3 and Traumatika look dumb, while the History of Sound and Rabbit Trap have gotten terrible reviews, making this a far from strong group of new releases.
Thomas La Tourrette: The only one of these films that I truly want to see is The History of Sound, though the trailer was not that exciting. Motherland looks intriguing but I wonder if it is fully fleshed out.
