Rating:B- Commentary: The trailer’s a bit dense for a pop culture attraction, but with some of the finest black actresses working today, it might actually be a decent film. It will play well to Tyler Perry’s core audience.
Rating:B+ Commentary: I like how each individual design is unique and different, with similar styles and formats harmonizing the series. They are a bit too busy at times, but that does not prevent a struck balance.

AS GOOD AS DEAD
Plot Summary: A group of revenge seekers try to get an innocent man to admit participating in a brutal homicide. Release Date:October 8, 2010

Rating:B- Commentary: It’s not your typical glossy horror film filled with buxom teenagers and a psycho stalker. However, it does feel a bit like the original Saw film and it’s not just because Cary Elwes is in it.
Rating: None Commentary: I don’t review placeholders.

THE TOURIST
Plot Summary: A tourist finds himself embroiled in an espionage thriller after being selected by a random beautiful woman on a train to be her distraction. Release Date:December 10, 2010

Rating:C+ Commentary: Perhaps it’s because Johnny Depp looks terrible in the film, but this film only looks partially appetizing and it’s all because of Angelina Jolie’s potential to be excellent.
Rating: None Commentary: I don’t review placeholders.
