Rating: B-
Commentary: It’s smart enough to know that too much would just seem obvious and too little would be distracting. The artists have crafted something that’s somewhat cool to look at while showing its obvious hand to fans of the original. 		Rating: D
Commentary: You can tell from the first few seconds where the obnoxious directing pair introduce the trailer that you aren’t going to get anything remotely clever out of it. Nicolas Cage doesn’t appear frequently, but his bad acting shines right through between the plethora of supposedly awesome action scenes.

Oscar Chances: Never count a film heavy with visual effects out of that race, but I doubt it will even be remembered 10 months later.
