Supergirl carries the potential of high numbers with DC fans but Jackass: Best and Last has far more dedicated fans and could very well end up on top. It’s going to be a big battle and they’ll have to face off against the second weekend of Toy Story 5 for the top spot. I’m leaning towards Supergirl rather than Jackass but I think both will be topped by Toy Story 5.

WIDE RELEASES
JACKASS: BEST AND LAST SUPERGIRL

Jackass: Best and Last

Wesley Lovell: Never been a fan of these types of pranks.

Pete Patrick: I will not be among the jackasses who turn out for this.

Thomas La Tourrette: I have seen no movies in the series and have absolutely no desire to see this one.

Supergirl

Wesley Lovell: I haven’t had much excitement in seeing the new DC films so we’ll see.

Pete Patrick: Lifeless actioner looks to further diminish the Superman wing of the Marvel Universe.

Thomas La Tourrette: I will probably see it as I end up seeing most of the superhero movies, but the trailer did not sell me on it.

LIMITED RELEASES
COUTURE THE INVITE LUCKY STRIKE

The Limited Slate

Wesley Lovell: Couture and The Invite have potential.

Pete Patrick: Early reviews for Lucky Strike and The Invite make them seem like something worth seeking out, but Couture’s are mixed at best.

Thomas La Tourrette: The reviews make The Invite the movie to see and Couture the one to skip, though the trailers say the reverse. Lucky Strike just seems like a mediocre war movie.
