Review: (#1, C) Tying into the voyeuristic element of the trailer, having the actors might draw some attention but its bland Woody Allen-esque style doesn’t excite.

(#2, C) Two couples at dinner together. Scandalous. Not really and while the tagline infers such, a visit to the trailer is required to understand it. Even so, it’s just dull. (#3-#6, C) A quartet of character posters with unique colors and perhaps indicative scene insets. It’s an interesting choice but rather lackluster in terms of enticement.

Review: (#1, B) Although the film’s premise doesn’t seem that riveting, the actors do a solid job conveying the potential for the film. While the reveal at the end of the trailer gives perhaps too much away, that might well have made it seem more intriguing.

(#2, B-) The first trailer was a bit more suggestive and a bit more creatively helmed but the second does little to improve impressions of the film.

Oscar Prospects:

It could be an acting contender but we’ll see.
