Review: (#1, C+) Anyone seeing this poster will get the obvious reference to Steven Spielberg’s 1982 blockbuster E.T. Beyond that, there’s not much unique or interesting in this spoof design that will likely have more salience once the viewer has seen the trailer and most certainly won’t convince anyone to see it.

Trailer Rating: B-

Review: (#1, B-) The first few moments of this trailer are cribbed directly from Spielberg’s film and that turns the viewer off pretty quickly. As it progresses, the spoofish nature and the heart-of-gold story builds a little bit up from that poor start. Unfortunately, the end result is something that doesn’t have a lot of broad appeal.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
