Review: (#1, C+) Bipedal animals that aren’t heavily anthropomorphized is an uncommon art style and this poster makes it easy to see why. The cuteness is overcome by the cringe. This is a garish design with little creative energy as well as very limited sales potential. (#2-#4) These character posters are cute (except for one) but the lack of background details or creative energy make them dreadfully dull.

Trailer Rating: C

Review: (#1, C) While the allegory in George Orwell’s Animal Farm is digestible by a young audience, this trailer presents a film that wants to kiddify the concept and dumb it down for an audience that won’t be able to fully internalize the point of the whole book.

Oscar Prospects:

Animated Feature is a tough category for a film like this to break into and I don’t think it will be able to.
