Review: (#1, C+) As smooth as some of the image is, the graininess in the darker elements makes the design seem amateurish at best. Further, the off green, blue, and off red colors clash a little too much. (#2, B-) Avoiding the hyper-stylization of the first design and going something a little more creative works well for this film, tapping into the quasi-futuristic aesthetic more ably than previously. Unfortunately, the bulk of the design is overwhelming dichromatic and looks unnecessarily one-dimensional.

Trailer Rating: C

Review: (#1, C) The trailer seems to shy away from its near futuristic setting in favor of establishing what looks more like a psycho-sexual thriller than a dramatic abduction drama. Relying entirely on star Connor Storrie’s Heated Rivalry success, this looks like the kind of movie that wants to tap into a star’s temporary popularity before anyone forgets who he is.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
