Review: (#1, C-) This poster tells the viewer absolutely nothing about the film and creates not a modicum of suspense. (#2, C) At least the titular cellphone is there, but it really doesn’t do much for the viewer.

Review: (#1, C+) The trailer seems to be trying to avoid any connection to The Grudge about a killer that emerges from a television after watching a certain VHS. They shouldn’t be afraid of that comparison, but that avoidance makes the concept of death by a possessed cellphone less persuasive as a workable concept.
