Review: (#1) This looks more like an add for a Freddy Krueger film than a re-adaptation of the 1980s horror flick. Crude lighting and dull coloration make it instantly forgettable. (#2) This is a less cheap-looking design, though it’s equally simplistic. The colors are much more compelling with it as well, but once again there’s not enough to be compelling.

Review: The original film wasn’t the best in quality, but it was involving in a way this trailer doesn’t suggest the remake will be. It looks like an attempt to be bloodier than its predecessor, but not necessarily more involving.
