Review: (#1-#2, C+) What’s most unnerving about this effort is that the figures at the bottom are unaware of the figures at the top, which adds some tension. The gooey connective tissue of the title does hint at the gore even if the upper two-thirds didn’t already. The second design is similar with that gooey effect but this looks a bit more spider-like in its effort, which might confuse the viewer some. It’s a decent IMAX design but nothing spectacular. (#3, C) This design tells the audience little to nothing about the film’s content. There’s some blood to tie it into the horror milieu but is an overall underwhelming effort.

Review: (#1, C+) The plot doesn’t come through well at all even if there are some intriguing moments in the trailer. It feels like a knock-off zombie apocalypse movie but with a Korean flare.
(#2, B-) Learning a lesson from its previous preview, the designers have given us the bare bones of the premise, which makes the effort stand out a bit more from the standard zombie films audiences are familiar with. Although it doesn’t quite escape its genre trappings, there are enough interesting details on display to generate a small amount of buzz.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
