Review: Very simple and perhaps too much so. While the image within an image technique seems to be quite popular, this use does very little to give an idea what the film is about and may suggest too much the opposite.

Trailer Rating: B+

Review: This film about the forgotten defenders of France during World War II looks to be a poignant tale of survival and courage. That they fought for a country that was not their own suggests a powerful message that could make this a terrific film. The preview doesn’t heap on the sentiment, which makes it more appealing than it otherwise might.

Oscar Prospects:

Another Oscar nominated foreign film that will have to rely on a strong push to earn nominations the year after its international release.
