Review: (#1 & #2) These posters are the inverse of one another and while they flow fairly well, the use a color scheme and structure that is overused.

(#3) Desaturated poster designs with pops of color are overly familiar and, in this case, not particularly exciting. (#4-#7) The black-and-white motif is already overdone, throw in the cheap title bar in the eye-popping red and you have a set of character posters that feel as unoriginal as they could possibly without being completely identical.

(#8) More of the black-and-white motif featuring all of the actors in poses that aren’t necessarily flattering, nor are they very engaging or enticing.

Trailer Rating: C- / C+

Review: (#1) The trailer paints this film as a knock-off of many better and more compelling heist narratives. While it’s clear they are trying to tackle it from a slightly new angle, everything still feels used.

(#2) The heist film has gotten more details in its second outing, giving the audience a better idea of the stakes at play in the film. Whether that makes the movie that much more exciting is hard to say as the action isn’t particularly engaging in this outing either.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
