Review: (#1-#2, C) Nothing about these two posters stands out to the passer-by apart from being in black-and-white. That might attract some interest from indie enthusiasts but that could be achieved in other, more dramatic ways.

Trailer Rating: B+ / B

Review: (#1, B+) A beautifully constructed trailer that doesn’t quite tell the whole story but generates enough intrigue in its content to appeal to the very indie/foreign demographic that will make it a specialty box office success.

(#2, B) This effort isn’t nearly as visually and aurally dazzling as the prior but it still presents an interesting film with content that feels fitting for our modern age while maintaining its timeless feel.

Oscar Prospects:

This will probably be one of the year’s big Oscar contenders.
