Review: (#1, C+) While not quite an extreme close-up, it’s unnervingly in-your-face and while the excessive red coloring might fit with the anger/revenge/passion theme, it’s a bit overbearing, though the pop of color with the eye shadow almost makes up for it.

Review: (#1, C+) Films that tackle homophobia in unique and interesting ways aren’t common but this certainly feels a bit familiar. Is it a revenge fantasy that will ultimately turn into a love story or is it 100% tragic? The audience won’t likely care to find out.
