Review: (#1-#2, B) Leaning into the horror elements of the film with two designs that are somewhat unsettling, these posters will appeal to a very specific subset of cinema audiences. They are simple designs that don’t add a lot of depth but they work somewhat efficiently. (#3-#4, B-) The first design positions this as a 1980s horror throwback but with a spoof element while the second design does minimal heavy lifting for the film’s concept with repulsion evident. Neither genuinely entices or effectively sells the film beyond core interest.

Trailer Rating: C+

Review: (#1, C+) Can a supernatural thriller blended with a prison drama work? It’s hard to say as the trailer doesn’t suggest much in the way of supernatural but presents plenty of prison violence to titillate absolutely no one.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
